Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. He also worked as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Singapore University of Technology and Design, and Assistant System Engineer in Tata Consultancy Services.
He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. His primary research interests are in the domain of Internet of Things, Wireless Networks, Sensor Networks, Network Security and Smart Grid. He is the author of many scholarly research papers, including reputed journal papers, in the above mentioned areas.
